In OpenSSL 1.0.1c: If -enddate is used when signing a cert with the openssl ca command, the summary screen displays the wrong number of days. It shows the default_days from the configuration file instead of a value corresponding to the specified date.
I suggest to either compute the correct number of days, or leave days out of the summary when -startdate/-enddate are given. While no harm is done, it is irritating to see a "wrong" value on the certificate summary screen. -- Stefan H.
