Good day.

I needed to generate a certificate for use with SSL on apache web.
Linux versions.
Linux box 3.2.0-4-amd64 # 1 SMP Debian 3.2.60-1 + deb7u1 x86_64 GNU / Linux
I have installed a version of SSL
ii openssl 1.0.1-2 + deb7u11 amd64 Secure Socket Layer (SSL) binary and
related cryptographic tools
ii ssl-cert 1.0.32 simple debconf all wrapper for OpenSSL
When I start generating
# Make-ssl-cert / usr / share / ssl-cert / ssleay.cnf /
etc/apache2/ssl/apache.pem
I get back an error
Could not create certificate. Openssl output was:
Error Loading extension section v3_req
140581508183720: error: 2207507C: X509 V3 routines: v2i_GENERAL_NAME_ex:
missing value: v3_alt.c: 537:
140581508183720: error: 22098080: X509 V3 routines: X509V3_EXT_nconf:
error in extension: v3_conf.c: 93: name = subjectAltName, value =
192168113.1

I tried searching the web, but I found that the bug closed, but no info.

Thanks for the info.
