Thank you for the link. I've tried to backport the latest patch, and the conflicts are indeed minimal. I was more curious about which is the *right* branch to target in the first place, and since 1.0.2 is close to release, I thought master would've been a better fit. If people agree with 1.0.2 I can obviously retarget it.
