Hi!

I was tying out the put command with version 6.7_p1 of OpenSSH.

If I use recursive copying, sftp expects the last directory in the <source> exists in the destination (on the server), otherwise “Couldn't canonicalize: No such file or directory”.

I would've taken this to be the expected behavior, but get command does not have this problem. It makes the destination directory in the client like with cp.

So kindly take a look at this.
