The issue as originally described in this ticket has been fixed. A comment was added at one point to this ticket: "May I suggest the bug also becomes a wish for support for > 2GB numbers, as that is what the user originally wanted?"
It's not clear that that is desirable and is unlikely to be added. Therefore closing this ticket.
