I have previously built OpenSSL 0.9.5a under Solaris 2.4, but would like to move to the 0.9.6g current version. I am having various problems both with compiling OpenSSL and with my development environment (old version of gcc, old version of gnulib.....), and would like to know if anyone has had any success with either Solaris 2.4 or 2.5.1 - or even 2.6. I can't find a mention under prerequisites on http://www.openpkg.org/tutorial.html, and I haven't managed to find any reference to these archaic O/S's with OpenSSL 0.9.6g in the mailing list archives,
