You are using a Win32 version and do not experience this problem with
UNIX versions? I have that problem, too and am still looking for a
solution. As far as I could trace the problem, Netscape receives the
client certificate request and won't send a single byte anymore.
This only happens, when the cert database must be unlocked.

I experience the same with my openssl based Postfix/TLS extension.

Every explanation (and, even better, solution) is welcome.
