Hello,

  I've D/Led openssl-0.9.3a, and try to add multi-thread support
by doing the following modifications,

1. Find "FreeBSD-elf" in ./configure.
2. Replace '(unknown)' with '-pthread' at that line.
3. Compile as instructions.

Then I compiled it on my FreeBSD 3.2 box. It compiled and tested ok.

I've used it to generate a cert to work with my apache-mod_ssl. My
questions are:

1. Is it really have multi-thread support in my openssl? How can I
   verify it?
2. Is it stable enough to support apache-mod_ssl?

If you have done this before, I'd like to hear some advices from you.
Thanks in advance.

ps. Because I have little programming (tools) experience on UN*X
environment,
please keep it simple if any programming (tool) skills are involved.
