I installed openssl under UNIX and want to operate as a CA (for development purposes). I am also running Microsoft IIS 3.0 web server (not by choice). Now I need to get IIS to recognise certificates signed by my CA and install a new server certificate. Unfortunately I have not been able to to find out how to do that. Most of the WWW links I found relating to this specific task were out of date. Can anybody help with this? What I have done so far is this: Created a CA with openssl. Generated a Certificate Request from MS Keymanager. Signed the Certificate Request with my CA. My vague understanding of what I still need to do is: 1. Enable MS Keymanager to recognise my CA. I guess this involves creating another certificate with openssl and running the MS certmgr.exe utility? 2. Install the server certificate with Keymanager. Easy? ______________________________________________________________________ OpenSSL Project http://www.openssl.org User Support Mailing List [EMAIL PROTECTED] Automated List Manager [EMAIL PROTECTED]
