Hello, I am brand new to OpenSSL and I have some questions. First of all, I am using OpenSSL 0.9.3a which I have ported to MS-DOS (I think). So assuming my port was successful, here are my questions: Can OpenSSL be used to encrypt and send data without setting up certificates? Specifically, how can I use DES encryption to send/receive data without using certificates? What are the necessary function calls to set this up..starting all the way from the beginning? I would really appreciate any help or info on this. Also, links to functioning source code that does not use certificates would be very useful, whether or not it uses DES. Thanks for your help!
