My perl5 binary for my linux is from
ftp.cdrom.com/pub/linux/slackware-3.6/slakware/d1/perl.tgz.
when I run ./configure, there is an error happened:
Makefile => Makefile.ssl
/home/.../perl5: can't load library 'libgdbm.so.1'
I ignored this error and run 'make', the make process is stop at
this point:
perl ./obj_dat.pl < objects.h > obj_dat.h
perl can't load library 'libgdbm.so.1
make[2]: *** [obj_dat.h] Error 16
And there is nothing pertaining to gdbm under my perl binary
directory.Anything is wrong?
Another question, I guess my 'configure' was wrong too. because I
can't specify my systemis linux,redhat,PC586, and what is its'
name: linux-elf, inux-ppc, or just gcc(I use gcc)?
So my second question is : what is the name of my operating system
that I can set as an option for running"./Configure"?
Anyone can help me?
