I installed freebsd successfully. Then I installed apache+php, then rsaref, then openssl all from the ports directories. 1. Does my apache+php have any idea that openssl is there? If not, how would I get the two to interact? 2. where does mod_ssl figure into this? Do I need to install that too? I thought I _didn't_, but I can't tell now... 3. what document tells me what directives to add to my apache.conf to get this to work? I have found plenty of directive indexes that tell me all about _all_ of the directives, but none actually specify which ones I need and in what order... I am sorry to put forth such a whiney question, but two things drove me to the edge: 1. I feel like I am really close - I am _not_ having problems installing or compilig or anything like that ... I just need to know what 5-minute edits to files x y and z I need to do ... 2. the documentation for all of this was written by people that already know how to do it, and rather poorly, so that it provides little or now step x step help for someone hacking through it the first time... thanks, john ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com ______________________________________________________________________ OpenSSL Project http://www.openssl.org User Support Mailing List [EMAIL PROTECTED] Automated List Manager [EMAIL PROTECTED]
