I know it seems a bit upside-down at the moment; really cool software and
pretty much no documentation except for terse function calls; part of the
reason for this is that many people who use the stuff are used to finding
their way around the technical side; another is that you will find a
number of sites on the net that refer to the use of openssl's precursor,
ssleay. In practise, I've been able to use the ssleay documents
pretty much verbatim since many of the commands are identical. A few sites
you may want to check out if like me you were interested in secure web
servers, CA's etc....

Also, you must look at the example programs in the distribution; I know,
not an ideal way to glean info but in practise usable.
