I'm also, but OpenSSL really needs a better support for cert chain
validation (with a special handling for the root certs), and a better
support for CRLs. A support for Certificate Policies could be a good idea
also...

Anyway, I think that most of the basic stuff is already here... SET
shouldn't be very far away.

I'm able to provide support to someone who would like to develop SET
features. I've got 2 running SET CA servers (for production and testing),
able to deliver certificates for CardHolders, Merchants, Payment
Gateways...
