Erik,
The error means that your client has closed connection before SSL
negotiation.
I guess you're trying to connect SSL service with non-SSL client (=
your Outlook is not configured to use SSL). Am I right?

Gear, I
have been able to set up a server certificate which MS Outlook 97
does not
complain about. If anyone should need instructions please let me
know and
I could post my experience.
I am, however, having trouble with stunnel wrapped pop3. When the
pop3
account is empty I get the following error in my logfile:
stunnel[7177]: SSL_accept: error:00000000::lib(0) :func(0) :reason(0)
When there is mail in the pop3 account no such error occurs. Any
ideas?
