I developed a ssl server component which is based on OpenSSL.
There is no problem as long as I use Netscape Communicator (3.x - today , export or
domestic version) to connect to my server. When
doing the same with Internet Explorer (4.01, 5, export version) I always end up with
an error message.
I tried to track down the problem and it seems that the error message is triggered by
my FinishedMessage. The strange thing is that
- Netscape Communicator has no problem to accept my message (so building the finished
message should not be the problem)
- I'm able to verify the finished message of Internet Explorer (so the hashing
alogithm should not be the problem)
Someone else already facing this problem (searching the archive produces nothing), any
comments or hints ?
