Hi, I need to allow semi-public access to our MySQL server on the Internet. I am looking at different ways of securing the link.. from hardware to software solutions. Would using OpenSSL be a possibility here? The Server is Linux, clients will be Win32 most likely.. I'm thinking perhaps ssh + port forwarding may be a better option?
