There's currently a branch of development called "engine" that has
support for CS cards. It currently only uses crypto acceleration with
those, but perhaps that's what you really want? If you want to try it
out, use the separate snapshots for that branch, which have names
starting with 'openssl-engine-SNAP'.
We'd be very happy if you would be willing to try an engine snapshot
and tell us if it worked good for you or not.
Warning: the engine branch is only documented somewhat in the source
and a couple of README files. Some of the OpenSSL utilities also take
the switch '-engine' followed by the name of the engine you want to
use. For CS, it is "cswift".
