>From the code you included, I can see that if SSL_connect() fails, you
do print out the error stack to stderr.  If you could tell us what
message you got, we could be of further help.  If the error message is
about the PRNG not being seeded, you should probably start by reading
the FAQ...

About not including the error message in queries like this (especially
since it's obvious there must have been one): I think I will start to
consider that as baing plain rude, and will probably respond accordingly.
