OK, thanks a lot.
However, I have a specific concern : I start a course on
cryptology and computer security in exactly a month. The
students are to download everything they need and install it,
and I shall explain the algorithms (or at least some of them),
preferably with direct reference to the sources. I can hardly
avoid mentioning Rijndael in some detail ; besides, it is a
pleasure :-)
Now, if there were an official release of OpenSSL with
everything I need by that time, I wouldn't have to patch, or
explain the Rijndael part from, e.g., gpg, or do anything else
that distracts from the main issue. It would be easier to go
through just one package exactly as it comes from the server,
and OpenSSL is the obvious choice. I can manage with the present
situation, but if there were a 0.9.7 with Rijndael as a
Christmas ou New Year gift, I would certainly apreciate it!
