I may have asked this before, but my boss has tasked me with finding out relative performance of straight-up http vs. SSL protected http. We're curious about both connections per second, and throughput. Does anyone have links to good info on the subject? I did a web search but much of the information is outdated, poorly qualified marketing stuff, or irrelevant.
