Hi! We are developers of Windows CE business applications. We have a client that requires an SSL connection between CE devices and the server. This is not a browser application...that means that we don't have access to SSL through WinInet on the CE device. Microsoft initially acknowledged the fact that SSL on CE wasn't working in August of 1999. So...we are searching for a solution to this problem...which brings me to the reason for this email. Does the OpenSSL library run on Windows CE???? Or has anyone else tried this and found that it does not work???
