Howdy!
I assume you're using the entity available at
http://entity.evilplan.org/Download/files/entity-0.7.2.tar.gz
After downloading this directly to both a sparc solaris 7 and a sparc
solaris 8 box, I had no problems gunzipping the archive using two versions
of gzip available on www.sunfreeware.com.
I'll be updating the README for the ssl-manager to mention entity's
requirements later today. Also, compile issues for Intel solaris 7 & 8
should be fixed in the latest cvs of entity.
There were also a couple of bash issues in the wrapper script that launches
the ssl manager that have been fixed in the latest CVS of this software.
