Sorry, if this
question has already been answered. I'm just starting with SSL, and writing down
what I'm finding.
I have set myself as
a CA, I generate private key, create a certificate request, sign it with my CA
root certificate. Everything goes nicely in the various part of the /var/ssl/
directory.
Now I try to sign
again the certificate request (because I want to renew it, or change the start
and end date basically). The system answers me that there is already an entry
with same DN in index.txt.
I should be able to
have a certificate with same DN but different valid dates? How should I handle
it?
Thanks for the
info.
