I have been using openssl and its cert creation tools for a long time now - on either NT or Windows 2000.
However, I have tried to copy my openssl directroy which has all the files to a Windows ME computer and I have problems - I can create the ca and personal cert but when I want to sign the cert I get an error - it asks for the password and then goes through the full screen as normal but it automatically skips the phase where it is supposed to ask me to confirm sigining (it displays the prompt but does not wait for an answer) then it just outputs a message saying cert not signed. Now does anybody know why this happens and how to solve it? There aren't any missing files as, if I was to go to a new (clean) windows 2000 computer and copy the folder it will work there.
