We are using openssl version 0.9.6. I am having some trouble configuring openssl to send an SSLv3 client hello which advertises TLSv1 as the maximum version supported. I can send an SSLv2 client hello using the s23_method but don't see how to send an SSLv3 client hello with the client_version set to 3.1.
