No. If I don't misunderstand RFC2459, you have to use Alpha-2 (2 digit)
ISO code:
id-at-countryName       AttributeType   ::=     {id-at 6}
X520countryName ::=     PrintableString (SIZE (2)) -- IS 3166 codes
