Hi, I ran into the following problem using Openssl under Unix. I created a selfsigned CA cert without using the days parameter, so creating a CA cert valid for 30 days only. The user certs that have been generated are valid 365 days. So after the 30 days the CA cert is invalid and consequently the user certs can not be verified.
Is it possible to renew a CA cert without recreating/resigning the user certs ? Could anyone give me doc/howto pointers concerning the topic of certificate management in general ?
