Can someone explain why OpenSSL is compiled in such a way that it can only work with a single version of libc? Other programs and libraries can generally work across a range of versions within the same major version (e.g. for example glibc 2).
How do YOU go about upgrading glibc on a machine you access via SSH, for example? -- ----------------------------------------------------------------- | Phil Howard - KA9WGN | Dallas | http://linuxhomepage.com/ | | [EMAIL PROTECTED] | Texas, USA | http://ka9wgn.ham.org/ | ----------------------------------------------------------------- ______________________________________________________________________ OpenSSL Project http://www.openssl.org User Support Mailing List [EMAIL PROTECTED] Automated List Manager [EMAIL PROTECTED]
