Ok, we are getting near: the openssl test compile fails because the
compiler fails. It has nothing to do with openssl.
So, ..., I am somewhat surprised to see libgcc in a "public" path. I so
far only have seen gcc installations with compiler (gcc) specific things
in a compiler specific directory:
serv01 21: ls -al /usr/local/lib/gcc-lib/hppa1.1-hp-hpux10.20/3.0.3/libgcc.a
-rw-r--r-- 1 root sys 1385530 Dec 28 2001
/usr/local/lib/gcc-lib/hppa1.1-hp-hpux10.20/3.0.3/libgcc.a
Don't know what has messed up your compiler, sorry. As you can see, I
use to work on HP-UX (and Linux), so I am not familiar with Solaris
specific installations.
