excellent question. I actually had no idea that existed. (granted, I probably could have searched a little harder.) that would be a great link to include on the openssl.org site, perhaps near the download or support section. I'm sure tons of newbies like myself come looking for Win32 binaries. At the very least a mention in the FAQ. Perhaps Win32 users like myself don't come around here too often? anyway, thanks very much for the info. I'll update my walkthrough in case someone stumbles by.
