Hello,
I am using OpenSSL 0.9.7d to investigate a problem connecting to a server
running IBM gskit. If I run the command:

openssl s_client -connect server.domain.com:443 -state -reconnect

I see the intial connection and certificate exchange happen in under a second.
However, further reconnections using the same SSL session result in a delay of
around 4 seconds at the 'read server hello' stage.

Is there a known problem using openssl in client mode which could cause this?
I have searched the openssl-users mailing list and googled about but have not
been able to find anyone with a similar problem. However, I need to check for
the sake of completeness and a 'yay' or 'nay' would be very useful.

If anyone else has experienced similar problems connecting to servers running
gskit I would also be grateful to hear from them. If they've experienced
similar problems and have fixed them I would be over the moon to hear from
them.

Thanks in advance for your help.
Saul Hazledine
