No it isn't currently possible the functionality is only currently present in
OpenSSL 0.9.9.

In theory yes but unsubscribed users end up a in big pile with zillions of
bogus messages and have to be manually approved.

So in practice it might take a while for someone to have time to trawl through
all the unapproved messages.
