I do understand the security benefit of having a separate cert per physical host. It appears that Thawte would be the best guys to go for, given the superior browser compatibility of their root. So far, I haven't received timeous responses from any of the CAs regarding my queries - given their pre-sales inefficiency, I wonder about the justifiability of their inflated prices?
