Hi Folks,
I've compiled the FIPs module and OpenSSL 0.9.7m without problems. However, when I try to compile OpenSSL 0.9.7m with the shared option I get the following error: Canister: /usr/local/ssl/lib//fipscanister.o 8811:error:25066067:DSO support routines:DLFCN_LOAD:could not load the shared library:dso_dlfcn.c:157:filename(./libcrypto.so.0.9.7): ld.so.1: fips_premain_dso: fatal: libgcc_s.so.1: open failed: No such file or directory 8811:error:25070067:DSO support routines:DSO_load:could not load the shared library:dso_lib.c:244: unable to collect signature make[5]: *** [do_gnu-shared] Error 1 make[5]: Leaving directory `/var/tmp/openssl-0.9.7m' make[4]: *** [do_solaris-shared] Error 2 make[4]: Leaving directory `/var/tmp/openssl-0.9.7m' make[3]: *** [libcrypto.so.0.9.7] Error 2 make[3]: Leaving directory `/var/tmp/openssl-0.9.7m' make[2]: *** [shared] Error 2 make[2]: Leaving directory `/var/tmp/openssl-0.9.7m/fips-1.0' make[1]: *** [all] Error 2 make[1]: Leaving directory `/var/tmp/openssl-0.9.7m/fips-1.0' make: *** [sub_all] Error 1 Is this possible? Any and all comments welcome. This is on Solaris 10 11/06 with the gcc 3.4.6 compiler (installed with the OS). Thanks, Ron
