I am seeing this error when trying to open an https url using curl and openssl.
I am able to open connections and transfer data successfully but when I try to repeat this several times, eventually, I get this failure when trying to open a connection. When that happens, I need to restart my application before things will again work. The versions of curl and openssl on my target systems are old - they date from 2008. Openssl 0.9.8.o and curl 7.19.2. The company that manufactures the target systems will not be willing to upgrade unless I can demonstrate the the problem that we have is clearly connected to the use of these versions. Can anyone give me advice as to whether or not an upgrade might help?
