What Adobe product and version are you using ? Maybe too old ?
not newest, but RFC 3161 is old, too

If you use older version of Adobe, it maybe do not support attribute certificates the same way like does not openssl till today.

It is possible that Adobe has add attr.cert. support (CMS, ...).

Attribute certificate, missed support, failed TS verification, ... - that is the main subject discussed in this thread.

This TSA has in certs not just ESSCerId of signing certificate, but also second ESSCertID of attribute certificate. Attribute certificates are part of CMS, ESS, ... RFC's which are referred by RFC3161 and thus they may appear even it timestamps.
