Thanks for posting this, we do have an out-of-tree driver ,and as you pointed out in the patch , those parameters seems not used and this change didn't modify the compute layer functions and params so it should be no impact

A proposed change [1] gets rid of some unused fields from nova.virt.hardware.InstanceInfo, which is the thing returned by ComputeDriver.get_info(). I say "unused" in the context of the nova project. If you have a derived project that's affected by this, feel free to respond or reach out to me (efried) on #openstack-nova to discuss. This change is planned for Pike only.
