As we agreed in the new documentation retention policy spec [1], I need to restore the stable/mitaka branch for the openstack/openstack-manuals repository and then trigger a build of the mitaka version of the guides. I have a local patch ready that works, so I believe the next steps are to create the branch, propose the patch, and fix whatever infra issues we have due to running the change on such an old branch.
I believe I have the permissions needed to create the branch from the existing mitaka-eol tag. Before I do that, however, I wanted to make sure there are no additional steps needed. Should we delete the tag, for example? Or is creating the branch sufficient?
