Hi everyone, One complain that was expressed in past PTG feedback session(s) was the lack of situational awareness and a missed opportunity for "global" communication at the event.
To address that, in Dublin we'd like to use the end of the lunch break for general communications that could be interesting to OpenStack upstream developers and project team members. So far we only used that time for communicating housekeeping items, the idea would be to take it a step further. The idea is not necessarily to find a presentation for every day -- but if we find content that is generally useful and can be consumed while people start their digestion process, then we can use one of those slots for that. Interesting topics include general guidance to make the most of the PTG week (good Monday content), development tricks, code review etiquette, new libraries features you should adopt, lightning talks (good Friday content)... We'd likely keep the slot under 20min. If you have ideas, please fill https://etherpad.openstack.org/p/dublin-PTG-postlunch -- in a few weeks the TC will review suggestions there and pick things that fit the bill.
