# Keystone Team Update - Week of 23 April 2018 ## News
### scope_types in nova We've had some good discussions incorporating scope_types into nova [0]. Thanks to mriedem and jaypipes for helping out. The discussion flushed out some work needed in keystonemiddleware [1] and oslo.context [2], making the interaction between those components more clear and easier for other services to use system-scoped tokens. Jay's comments/questions are probably going to be asked by other people working on incorporating these changes into their service. If that pertains to you, please see those reviews. At our milestone retrospective we talked about possibly dropping some of the lower priority specs from the roadmap for this cycle.
