I thought I should post a message here for visibility that yesterday
we made the openstack-placement IRC channel +r so that the recent
spate of spammers could be blocked.
This means that you must have a registered nick to gain access to
the channel. There's information on how to register at:
https://freenode.net/kb/answer/registration
Plenty of other channels have been doing the same thing, see:
