Yeah, package renaming is usually a huge pain for distributions, and we already forced them through some oslo reversioning/renaming processes in the past... so this should really be seen as the last solution. It's also a pain for infra (repo renames) and developers who need to push the package rename down all projects. That said, if we are to do it, better do it at the start of Juno before we graduate new libraries. -- Thierry Carrez (ttx)
