This is just the base change. However, it is a building block for adding a bunch of interesting new features, including: * Robust caching * Better RetrievePropertiesEx * WaitForUpdatesEx * Non-polling task waiting It also gives us explicit session transactions, which are a requirement for locking should that ever come to pass.
