During our weekly horizon meeting this Tuesday, I requested that you
review the horizon change https://review.openstack.org/#/c/64103/, which
added support for volume type extra specs into horizon. This
functionality is desired by the cinder team, and it will also be a model
for the upcoming development of the UI for cinder qos spec support
(https://blueprints.launchpad.net/horizon/+spec/cinder-qos-specs)
It was suggested during the meeting to evaluate and possibly incorporate
a new key/value widget (https://review.openstack.org/#/c/99761/) into
the above change. Since this new widget has not yet landed and still has
some other issues to address, I recommend that we not couple these two
changes together. Later, when the new widget lands, a separate change
can be created to incorporate it into the several places in the UI that
deal with metadata / extra specs.
