Hi Nova Bug Wranglers,

There have been some issues where the gerrit hook script is unable to link a
review to a launchpad bug e.g. no comment is posted to launchpad when a fix has
been proposed, even when the submitter has included the appropriate text
"Closes-Bug: #" in the commit message. This leads to confusion as potential bug
fixers come to a bug and see it's not assigned to anyone and no fix proposed,
yet in reality a patch is up for review.

Jeremy Stanley mentioned in this bug about the issue [1], that the gerrit hook
script cannot *reassign* a bug unless it's a member of the bug supervisor
group, in this case, nova-bugs. An example problem scenario would be if someone
proposes a fix before assigning the bug to themselves. The bug would then
remain unassigned and no comment would be posted on it by the hudson-openstack
user showing that a fix has been proposed.

The hudson-openstack user is not a member of nova-bugs [2] at present. Does
anyone how to add a user to the team? I see the owner is the OpenStack
Administrators team. Can any member of the OpenStack Administrators add
hudson-openstack please?

Melanie
