Daniel Berrange and Sean Dague signed up to sponsor the FFE on the mailing list. Later, Jay Pipes reviewed the code and posted his agreement to sponsor the FFE in his +2 comment on the patch here: https://review.openstack.org/#/c/40467/ Sorry about the confusion but the email outlining the FFE process was not specific about how sponsors had to register their support, just that there should be 3 core sponsors.
