Not really sure. The Ganesha FSAL could be another possibility, but we are just starting the discussions. Hopefully we we'll know more soon.

Sage and I talked about this while at Devconf and it seems it *may* be based on something similar to the GlusterFS Native driver. We will be starting discussions on how to create this integration in the ceph-devel email list. Once we have a solution, we will send an update on this email list.

Sounds good. I've been looking forward to a cephfs driver for a long time. Is there any plan to do a cephfs-to-nfs bridge/gateway too?

I believe this will start somewhere after Kilo.

Hello Jake,

Main thing, that should be mentioned, is that blueprint has no
assignee. Also, It is created long time ago without any activity after
it.
I did not hear any intentions about it, moreover did not see some,
at least, drafts.
So, I guess, it is open for volunteers.

Hi,

I see there is a blueprint for a Manila driver for CephFS here [1]. It
looks like it was opened back in 2013 but still in Drafting state.
Does
anyone know more status about this one?

Thank you,
-Jake
