I'd like to echo this statement, as one who was a mentor during this last round. It's a good experience that doesn't take a lot of extra time. I was initially worried about the time commitment, but it's ended up being "office hours" a few times a week in IRC (where I am all the time anyway) and email correspondence with the intern. If you are considering being a mentor, I'd encourage it. It's a great learning experience and rewarding for both the mentor and intern. --John > > Thanks a lot, > > [0] https://wiki.openstack.org/wiki/OutreachProgramForWomen > [1] https://www.gnome.org/outreachy > __________________________________________________________________________ > OpenStack Development Mailing List (not for usage questions) > Unsubscribe: [email protected]?subject:unsubscribe > http://lists.openstack.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/openstack-dev
