Hi, Keystone guys,

Could we have a talk about DB2 CI enablement on this Monday, 8PM central
US time? which is Tuesday 9AM beijeing time?

For your questions, here are my answers:

1) Is the team going to be responsive to requests unlike last time there
was a problem?
*(yanfengxi) Yes, problems will be handled in time. In our current
working process, issues items will be opened internally automatically if
the CI fails. And our mainterner will try to handle the issues opened as
soon as possible. If there are others issues, please send email to
"[email protected]", **or reach irc account "yanfengxi" on channel
#openstack-infra.*

2) Is the job stable? I have no data about the stability I couldn't
vouch for it.
*(yanfengxi) From the statictics of other running CIs, we have a 88%,
including environment failures, and tempest failures. Which I think is
acceptable.*
*Because keystone CI is not enabled, we do not have the statistics for
it. But from several test runnings, keystone CI can run properly.*

By the way, I already updated the wiki page:
https://wiki.openstack.org/w/index.php?title=IBM/IBM_DB2_CI to include a
irc nick name.

I brought this up at the keystone meeting and the community didn't want
DB2 CI reporting was answered until a couple of questions were answered:

They asked a couple of questions that I wasn't able to answer:

1) Is the team going to be responsive to requests unlike last time there
was a problem?
2) Is the job stable? I have no data about the stability I couldn't
vouch for it.

They also wanted an irc nick fors someone that can answer questions and
respond to problems, on the wiki page:
https://wiki.openstack.org/w/index.php?title=IBM/IBM_DB2_CI

Rather than go back and forth on this week to week, they suggested that
we have a meeting on freenode irc in #openstack-keystone when it's
convenient enough for all of us. They were willing to meet any day at 8
PM central US time, which I think is 9 AM Beijing time. So just pick a
date when you can meet and send a note to the openstack-dev mailing list
when it is.

Also, you can include in the note any backup material that you have,
such as answers to the above questions.

You need to provide some evidence that this is working for keystone
before I'll bring it forward. There should be logs for successful
keystone runs.

Hi, Brant,
Today is the time for keystone online meeting. But it's too late for
me(3 AM in my time zone). Could you help to talk abut the DB2 CI
enablement for keystone? Appriciate it.

The following issues are all fixed:
1) merged failure is solved.
2) Log rotaion time is now 60 days.
3) Logs are browsable.
An example of cinder:
http://dal05.objectstorage.softlayer.net/v1/AUTH_58396f85-2c60-47b9-aaf8-e03bc24a1a6f/cilog/94/182994/6/check/ibm-db2-ci-cinder/66f2502/logs/
4) Tempests are run by testr, not nosetests.
5) Mainterner keeps an eye on and handle the test results in time.

Best Regard:)

You might as well hold off since https://review.openstack.org/#/c/190289/ is breaking devstack with a DB2 backend since the nova changes aren't there yet to run the new nova_api DB migrations with a DB2 backend.

I'll have to fold that into https://review.openstack.org/#/c/69047/ once I figure out why it's busted.
